In case you’re wondering what a pouf is, it’s a round ottoman shaped decorative accent that can be used as seating, side tables, footstools or a floor pillow type accessory for a room. Poufs are also referred to as Moroccan Poufs or ottomans and come in every color, shape and fabric imaginable. Decorating with poufs is a creative way to add color to a monochromatic empty room. Accentuate the color of the pouf with dramatic stitching like the pictures below. Be fun and bold in your selection!

Mirror Mirror on the Wall….
Mirrors are the best way to accessorize bare walls because they have a big impact and require minimal effort. Decorating with mirrors open up the room by giving the illusion the space is bigger than reality. If you have a large empty wall, consider buying small mirror tiles and hang them in groupings of 3, 6, or 9… Tiles can also be used as dramatic focal points in your bedroom, such as a headboard or above the dresser.

Light Up Your Style
Many would agree that lighting is the jewelry for your home. If you’re looking for an easy and quick project for your home, consider updating your light fixtures! There’s an overwhelming amount of websites offering various styles, finishes and price ranges, such as Lumens, CSN Lighting, LampsPlus, Bellacor, YLiving and Lightopia.
If you’re interested in updating your ceiling lighting consider a chandelier or pendant. Chandeliers were often thought of as formal ornate lighting for a dining room.
